Alkyl Polyglucosides (APG) is a new type of mild nonionic surfactant with wide applications and excellent properties, made from regenerated natural raw materials ¨C glucose derived from corn, and fatty alcohols from coconut and palm kernel oils. And APG is biodegradable because of the raw materials.
Owing to the asepsis¡¢non-stimulant¡¢and excellent surface activity, APG is ?generally used as a secondary surfactant in abstergent¡¢cosmetics¡¢foods and medicine. They are used in household and industrial ***ergent formulations where high, stable foam is required, or where high caustic concentrations are necessary. These surfactants also provide excellent ***ergency for glass cleaners, bottle washing formulations, metal cleaners, highly alkaline ***ergents, paint strippers, and aluminum brighteners.
